The FLOW 93.5 FM Milestone Award is a partnership with Ryerson University's School of Radio and Television Arts. This audio scholarship was designed to recognize a visible minority student who has demonstrated outstanding creativity in Audio/Radio journalism or music production.

The FLOW 93.5 FM Milestone Award will be awarded to a student who has met the following criteria:
  • Officially registered in the 2nd or 3rd year of the degree program in the School of Radio and Television Arts.
  • CGPA of 3.33 or better and has not failed or is not carrying a course.
  • Applicants must exhibit significant community involvement.
  • Applicants must submit a 2-3 minute demo of their work and a five hundred-word essay, which describes why they should be considered for this award. An outline of their community involvement must be included with their submission.
Students can apply or be nominated for this scholarship. The Ryerson University School of Radio and Television Arts awards committee will select the top student(s) who satisfy the following criteria.

The award will be presented annually at the RTA Spring Awards Ceremony.

FLOW 93.5 PARTNERS WITH RYERSON UNIVERSITY TO OFFER THE INAUGURAL FLOW 93.5 FM MILESTONE AWARD


FLOW 93.5 FM is proud to partner with the School of Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University to celebrate excellence in radio journalism or music production. Since 2002, FLOW 93.5 has presented Ryerson Radio & Television Arts (RTA) students students with the FLOW 93.5 Milestone Award. The FLOW 93.5 Milestone Award was developed by FLOW to recognize a visible minority student who has demonstrated outstanding creativity in Audio/Radio journalism or music production. Recipients are selected for the award based on their academic excellence, radio production skills and active involvement in the community. This $2,600 annual award is one way that FLOW 93.5 is helping to open the door to some of the best and brightest young talent.
